Warranty & Return Information

SSD Warranty:

1-Year Limited Warranty:

Viathan affirms that this product is devoid of defects in materials and workmanship, leading to product failure under normal usage conditions, as detailed on this page. This assurance extends for a period of 1 year from the original purchase date.

We pledge to replace, free of charge, any item from the original order that proves faulty due to defective materials or workmanship. In instances where replacement is impractical, we retain the right to propose an alternative of equal or greater value (with the customer covering any additional costs).

This warranty is non-transferrable and exclusively applies to the original purchaser. Proof of purchase is mandatory for all potential warranty claims.

1-Year Limited Warranty does not encompass the following:

    -Data loss.
    -Damage sustained during product return transit.
    -Failure or physical damage resulting from misuse, such as broken SATA interface pins, dents, or scratches.

1-Year Limited Warranty becomes void under the following circumstances:

    -Expiration of the warranty period (1 year).
    -Exceeding the Terabytes Written (TBW) limit of the product.
    -Taking the product to a third-party computer repair shop.
    -Altering the product, such as removing the SSD from the Metal SSD case or modifying the barcode, unless expressly permitted in writing by a Viathan staff member.

Returns Criteria:
Opened Items: Returns accepted within 60 days from the date of receipt.
Unopened items: Returns accepted within 365 days from the date of receipt.

Packaging Requirement:
Original packaging must be included for items eligible under our 30-day money-back guarantee and our 365-day returns policy.
For items damaged on delivery, we understand packaging might not be available.

How to Return an Order:
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
1. Contact us through our contact page and please provide your order number and email address.
2. We will issue you an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number and provide a returns label.

How Long is the Return Process?
1. Use the provided return label, and the item will be returned within 2-5 working days.
2. Refund or Replacement will be processed on the same day as receipt.
